Since many S&F and Parastar Convention  2002 pictures have already been published on different web sites, this year, I will only present the pictures I have taken for private use.
Nonetheless, you may find some of them (I hope) quite interesting and informative.
Before we go further, just a little comment.
This year, as far as PPG goes, was the worst year at Sun and Fun.
Only three manufacturers/dealers were present: Aerolight USA with Fly Products, Ohio Powered Paragliding with the Airfer line of Paramotors and Paralite USA.
Other companies did not show up because they did not believe they would sell too many machines. It is a shame, since most of us think only about profits and not about promoting this wonderful sport at such a big show like Sun and Fun. I was very disappointed.
The second event, The Parastar Convention (held at Fantasy of Flight) on the other hand, surpassed all my expectations.
Brilliantly organized by dozens of volunteers, mostly Parastar members (www.parastars.com) this was the best PPG event I have ever attended. Thank you Parastars for your hard work!
No major accidents were noticed or reported and all pilots seemed to fly much better than last year. Eric Dufour and his safety team did a great job.
The record was 74 pilots up in the air flying single and three tandems! There were women among us as well.
And now the pictures:
